The Protos® Integral Industry helmet is revolutionary in the field of head protection for trade and industry. This helmet offers a significant increase in protection and safety and much more that a normal helmet cannot offer. PFANNER® first developed the forestry helmet and the PFANNER® Arborist, and then, in a relatively short time, followed up with a slimmed-down version for construction sites and industrial operations.
The INTEGRAL INDUSTRY not only offers vertical protection against blows or other unexpected impacts, it also protects the head horizontally. This safety can only be guaranteed by the generous and intelligently selected cut of the helmet shell. This of course also ensures maximum blocking of sun and rain, the field of vision of the PFANNER® helmet is one of the largest in its class, which is immediately noticeable when you wear it for the first time. In order to be able to adapt to any season and weather conditions, the Protos® Integral offers perfect rear ventilation, which can be regulated as required using the ventilation slider on the helmet. This keeps your view clear even when using the clear visor, thus consistently preventing fogging. Since you still sweat a lot depending on the work, all padding and headbands can of course be easily changed. The twenty-stage synchronous adjustment of the Protos® helmet was patented by PFANNER® and ensures a perfect fit and secure hold on the head. The adjustment only needs to be made once, and it is fixed to the head via the neck shell. With this attachment, you can even wear the helmet upside down without it falling off. Another advantage of the neck shell is the additional impact protection, which can eliminate the risk of a skull base fracture.
What started with the idea of a forestry helmet was transferred to several areas relatively quickly. Thanks to all the necessary patents and certifications, the Protos® Integral Industry is now also approved for the industrial sector and can be used almost anywhere. The really ingenious thing about it is the integral system, which allows the helmet to be adapted to many requirements at any time. All additional modules, such as visor, hearing protection, chin strap and much more, can be retrofitted as accessories in the respective protective helmet and integrated into the Protos® system. What is already integrated in the Protos® forestry helmet can be easily integrated here via a few existing interfaces. The hearing protection, for example, is not only available in yellow, but in all available helmet colors. This is permanently located in the industrial helmet and can be sunk into the helmet shell when not in use. When active, this offers additional impact protection, and the pressure level of the hearing protection can be adjusted. Eye protection is of course also important. For this purpose, PFANNER® Protos® offers a visor made of polycarbonate, which is clear and provides a very large field of vision. If safety glasses are enough for you, you will also find what you are looking for at Protos®. The glasses can also be integrated into the industrial helmet and pushed in front of the eyes when required. This way, you carry everything you need with you at all times and only use it when required.
The Protos® Arborist forestry helmet also offers an additional feature that can be used on all helmets in the future. A crash absorber is installed as standard, which has already proven several times how much more impact energy it can absorb and has thus already saved lives. The absorber is made of a material that comes from aviation and is installed in the Airbus A380. The honeycomb technology of the crash absorber makes it very light and yet incredibly stable. This can be installed in the Protos® Integral by specialist retailers and offers a significant increase in protection and safety.
