The Pfanner Pilatus is a cut protection boot with rubber debris protection and a supple leather upper. The cut protection layer is also processed directly under the upper material in this model. Patented rivets firmly connect all three components of the shaft. This creates an extremely stable shoe with all-rounder qualities
The built-in round and rivet eyelets prevent wear and tear on the rope and harness when climbing. This feature makes the boot a faithful companion even for complex tasks.
A breathable Cordura inner lining combined with a Sympatex membrane allows materials to be dry and comfortable to wear. Of course, the Sympatex membrane ensures permanent waterproofness and breathability.
The Vibram outsole forms the stable foundation. The strikingly good grip is typical of Vibram, and shocks are permanently and reliably absorbed. Thanks to this tread resistance, the Pilatus feels at home in almost any application environment.
A corresponding aluminum toe cap is installed to protect against impacts and loads on the tip of the foot. To protect against slipping with the chainsaw, the Pilatus was equipped with sufficient cut protection material. The shoe is consequently certified according to cut protection class 2.
