The Säntis from Pfanner® is a cut-resistant shoe with debris protection and a unique ceramic upper material. The cut-resistant layer is processed under the upper material. Cut protection, upper material and debris protection are fixed together with patented rivets, which means that the individual layers can no longer shift. This design makes it possible to produce a more than stable shoe.
The almost seamless surface of the Säntis prevents wear and tear on seams that are usually subject to heavy wear. The ball eyelets used for lacing adjust to your lacing preferences and thus ensure the desired hold. A neoprene collar has also been added to prevent the leather from tearing.
The boot combines a breathable Cordura lining with a Sympatex membrane. Combined, these materials ensure a dry and comfortable feel. The Sympatex membrane is also permanently waterproof and highly breathable.
The Vibram outsole provides a stable foundation. The sole provides the typical Vibram grip and also reliably absorbs the shocks of a lifetime of work. The boot is also crampon-compatible and therefore suitable for working in difficult terrain.
The Säntis is equipped with cut protection class 2 certification to ensure adequate protection against possible incidents with a chainsaw. A corresponding aluminum toe cap also protects against impacts and stresses on the tip of the foot.
