The Carhartt Gilliam Vest is a lightweight insulating quilted lined vest. The men's waistcoat is ideal for better protecting the upper body from the cold on cool days. The main zip is a full-length front zip, which ends in a chin guard at the top. All main seams are triple stitched. The hem is extended and can be adjusted to the respective wearer with a drawstring. The fit is slightly wider for a comfortable fit.
The upper is made of DWR 40D Cordura Nylon. The lining is made of soft nylon and is specially designed so that even heavy winter jackets can be worn over the Gilliam without any problems. The applied Rain Defender technology enables the vest to protect the wearer from moisture. The permanently water-repellent surface allows rain to roll off easily.
The vest is provided with sufficient storage space. There is a zippered breast pocket on the left breast, and two welt pockets with concealed snap fasteners can also be accessed from the outside. An inner pocket with Velcro closure and an inner pocket with zip complete the vest.
